If you have arrived at this page, it is quite likely that you or someone close to you is a Veteran of the United States Armed Services and may be in need of custom orthopedic footwear.

  • Are you a diabetic?
  • Do you have an injury that hinders you from wearing shoes purchased from a regular shoe store?

If you are NOT currently wearing shoes that cater to your condition, you should visit your local VA doctor.


As a veteran of the United States Armed Services, you may be eligible for custom orthopedic footwear.

  1. The first step is to visit your local VA hospital. To find the center nearest you, click on the state in which you live. www.va.gov
  2. The VA doctor will be the one to determine if you are in need of custom footwear.
  3. If the VA Center has given you a request form for custom diabetic or orthopedic footwear, the final step would be to make an appointment with Bill Crary, President of Crary Shoes.
